What are addons?
- Are community made “modifications” that improve the game, automate tasks or provide information you otherwise don’t have access to.
- Addons are allowed by Blizzard, they are safe to use as long as you download them for a safe source like Curseforge.
Do I need addons?
- Simple answer is yes, without addons you will have a much harder time. There is no reason not to use addons.
- You don’t “need” addons, outside of 2-3 perhaps. Though you may find yourself enjoying how much better they make the game and will install far more. Just watch out, addons increase load time so don’t go crazy with 10 addons that do the same thing!
What addons do I “Need”
- (Two Addons) Deadly Boss Mods AND Deadly Boss Mods Delves & Dungeons If you run current Mythic Dungeons or Raids, having timers are essential. This will let you know when dangerous spells are coming, and tell you what to do at times.
- GTFO gives you audio alerts when standing in harmful effects, this is a useful addon in dungeons where things can get busy!
- Details - Details is a powerful addon that tells everything from what killed you, to how much healing is being done and more.
What addons are strongly suggested for everyone?
